Application Instructions Surface Preparation All surfaces, which are to receive the coating, must be sound and free from contamination such as Oil, Laitance, grease, wax, dirt or any other form of foreign matter, which could affect adhesion. Application Ultra Bitumen Emulsion may be applied by brush, broom or squeegee. It is recommended that 1-3 coats should be applied, depending on the degree of protection required. Where the Ultra Bitumen Emulsion is to take a screed, the second coat should be blinded with clean, dry sharp sand as soon as applied. The excess sand should be brushed off when the coating has dried. PACKAGING Ultra Bitumen Emulsion is packaged in bulk, 218 kg, 30 kg 15 kg Coverage Ultra Bitumen: Storage 1.5 to 3.5m²/L.tr. (Depending on the substrate) Shelf life is1 year unopened packs stored below 25°C in a shaded environment If stored at high temperature the shell life will be reduced. Precautions Health & Safety Ultra Bitumen Emulsion contains bituminous material. It has a possible risk of irreversible effect in contact with skin wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. In case of accidental skin contact remove immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. Cleaning Ultra Bitumen Emulsion may be removed from tools and equipment with water when It is wet. On drying.
