For your consideration, we are offering for sale this1990 Parker Centennial Duofold Fountain Pen in Red Marble and Gold Trim. This Parker has the uncommon nib coded 91, Extra Broad Oblique Right Handed 18K Nib. This Parker Centennial has never been inked and contained in the original box. I consider the pen to be in New Old Stock condition. The barrel and cap are gorgeous with beautiful red marbled color and gold-plated trim. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs to the pen. The threads on the cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel with the exception of the top of the cap that displays “EB”. This Parker Duofold is a Centennial Size that measures 5 3/8″ inches in length capped and 6 7/8″ posted. This Parker Duofold has a date code stamp on the back of the cap of “IIIQ” for 1990 in the 1st Quarter date code. Also, the area is stamped with Parker and Made in U.K. This Parker Centennial has afantastic18K Two-ToneBroad Oblique Italic right-hander nib. The nib/feed is designated 91 which is numbered on the back of the feed. The 91-codednib is known as an Extra Broad Oblique 18K nib for right-handers. The actual writing portion (iridium) of the Parker NIB measures roughly 1.55mm when measured with digital calipers. I have not written with the pen only to keep it in new old stock, never inked condition. The ink converter isa factory Parkerand ready for your ink. I have tested the ink converter with water and operates as it should. This Parker Duofold Centennial inRed Marble really makes a statement – the color is absolutely gorgeous with the bright gold trim! Having a 91 coded nib on a Centennial Duofold makes the pen a bit more desirable than others.
